1-900-Ice Cream: Indulge in Philadelphia's Best Soft Serve and Unique Flavors

1-900 is right in Rittenhouse Square and they had a long line that ended up moving pretty quickly. The staff were lovely, giving me recommendations and fast service. The soft serve is silky smooth and the flavors are strong but not artificial or overwhelming. I could see the vanilla beans throughout the ice cream which translated to the flavor as well and the chocolate was so balanced that I could eat plenty of it. The dip is perfectly thin and crisp, with a good flavor overall! The waffle cone was fine. Would recommend giving it a try, they have tons of interesting flavors that I didn’t get a chance to check out!

Great soft serve. Generally I go for hard ice cream but today it was up to my partner and she loves a chocolate and vanilla swirl. Place was really cute and the ice cream was very good!

Small ice cream store with a limited rotating menu (excl signature items). Highly recommend the soft serve (vanilla with the cookie butter dip!). Rotating items can be a hit or miss- recently got the dirt dessert (oreo and chocolate soft serve swirl, vanilla cream cheese, oreo crumbs, white chocolate swirls, and gummi’s worms) and it could have been better.

It's amazing when a small ice cream shop has a line of about 20 people out the door. I was not sure but the first taste tells you it's worth it the wait. Book the soft serve and the hand scoop art artisan. I had a banana pistachio soft serve with sprinkles. That was honestly one of the best serves I've ever had. And scooped are awesome! Varieties just as delicious and unique.

Small store with limited menu but good quality. I enjoyed the soft serve the best. Strawberry parfait was really good. Vanilla Bean soft serve is my favorite. Cup, traditional cone or waffle cone. I did not experience any bad customer service. Minimal wait. Quick pay. Fast.

Living a block away from 1-900 is probably the best and worst decision I’ve ever made. It has THE best soft serve and there really is no other way to see it. Would recommend everything I have ever had there. But my favorite pop-up flavor is the hazelnut soft serve dipped in dark chocolate & the scoop ice cream of berries & cream. Go see the line for yourself and you’ll be wondering what you’re missing out on!

Got a double of the Merci Boku 2.0. Was the right amount of Cinnamony, caramelly indulgence with cake chunks. Will definitely go back for new flavours next time I'm around. Decided it was good enough for a picture after a few too many bites.

My husband and I shared: - Lemon Law - Berries & Cream Parfait The parfait was incredible. I absolutely loved the compote. I usually prefer hard serve over soft serve, but not here. I really wanted a mix in/compote of some sort in the hard serve, though it was still good. There is a bit of a line outside since they only let a few people in at once, but I didn't take too long.
